Last Words (warning kills) is a series of laser printed matte stickers distributed for free by Typical Organization. This is an anti-warning campaign sized to fit cigarette packages from various dimensions, conceived with our friend and conceptual collaborator Lefteris Kaltsas. The principle of the campaign is simple: replacing the official anti-smoking devices by Typical ones.
By using Famous Last Words from celebrated human subjects, we propose an alternative way to think of death. Smoking and its self-destructive aspects could be seen as a ‘Memento Mori’ par excellence, a classic way considering the vanity of earthly life and the transient nature of all earthly goods and pursuits.
