Georgallis, Textile Design
Teresa Georgallis a London based textile and accessory designer, did commission us to rethink her visual identity. From the beginning on we focused on the idea of weaving (an essential part of Teresa’s practice). When Teresa spook us about her inspirations she did mention the I Ching divination system as being meaningful. Looking back we could resume that we designed a system that would create a parallel between the weaving method and a new divination system. We took a simple figure: 5 horizontal lines that by random interruptions shape a dynamic logo figure. This reflexive graphic is accompanied with a costume typeface alternation an Interrupted Futura Light.
